ARTIST STATEMENT:
I find myself on a constant self-search within my art. I take a sophisticated, intelligent
approach with humor and playfulness thrown in when you least expect it. Shapes and
colors and their relationships also play a large part in my paintings. Everyone sees and
experiences things differently. It takes time for everything experienced to
come together in the work I'm doing at present. You have to go through many different
stages in order to reach a point where you can put your unique vision into the art. My current
search concerns shapes and symbols from the past as related to the present.
